From 1994 Every year, the integral part of St Dominic's Fair is the International Run of St. Dominica. This is a hit of a sports summer on the coast, recognized in its class as the most attractive running and promotional event in Poland for participants and partners. This year, for the thirty time, this prestigious undertaking will gather tens of thousands of fans and guests in the historic center of the Main City and over 1,200 runners who want to sign up for the list of participants. Participation in the Run of St. Dominika is ennoblement for each participant. The high rank of the event was appreciated by the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk and the president AMBEREXPO and Energa from the Orlen Group, who will be the founders of the cups for the winners.
The event is located in the unique scenery of Gdańsk tenement houses, which creates a unique atmosphere of the event. The route in the center of the Main City with a start and finish at Neptune is created by a loop closed with a length of 1412m leading along the streets: Długi Targ, Powroźnicza, Kotwiczniki, Podwale Przedmiejskie, Przyki, Przyki, Bogusławski, Ogarna, Garbary and Długa. This allows you to follow the fans of the events on the route of each run. Amazing doping over 25,000 viewers carry every amateur runner and a professional to the finish line.
In this wonderful surroundings on August 2, 2025, we will realize the Run of St. Dominika, whose program covers 4 runs, which connects the common slogan "Farm of St. Dominic". The event will be opened by the prologue of "St. Dominic's Goń" for all participants of the Fair, parents with children and seniors. The winners will be everyone who wants to join us, will stand at the start and reach the finish line. According to the principles of modern Olympic Games- there is no important victory, it is important to participate in this project.
The "wheelchair" race promotes the sport of disabled people as part of the "Integration through sport" program.
For running amateurs who want to compete with friends and break their own records, there will be a classic 5km Lotto Cup women and 5km Energa Cup. The main sports attraction focusing the attention of fans and the media will be the Run of the Men's elite - PZLA Polish 10km Championship with the leaders of Polish runners, excellent foreign runners and qualified amateurs competing for the national primacy.
