Meet the Best Exhibitors of the 766th Jarmark św. Dominika

Winners of the Grand Prix competition of the 766th Jarmark św. Dominika with their diplomas and statuettes
Kashubian ruchanki, crayfish soup, garlic products and natural, handmade brushes – these were the products that most impressed the jury in this year's Grand Prix competition of Jarmark św. Dominika. The Grand Prix awards have been presented at Jarmark św. Dominika for a quarter of a century. It is a prestigious competition in which exhibitors showcase the very best they have to offer. Its purpose is to consistently raise the quality of what is on offer and to promote the stalls of the best exhibitors.

This year the Grand Prix awards were presented in four categories: Good Taste, Tasting of Ready Dishes, Good Delicacy and Good Idea. The jury paid particular attention not only to taste itself, but also to the workstation, the level of difficulty, originality and the choice of products. When assessing the stalls, the uniqueness and variety of the range mattered, as did the arrangement and attractive decor. The attractions prepared for the public also count, e.g. workshops, demonstrations of the production process, workshops for children, a product in the form of a souvenir from the Fair, or tastings.

The Grand Prix statuette shaped like a rooster, with a plaque reading 766. Grand Prix category Good Taste

The competition committee is made up of representatives of MTG, the City of Gdańsk and local media. For years it has been chaired by Piotr Dzik, a Gdańsk city councillor and restaurateur. In the Good Taste category the exhibitors were judged – alongside councillor Dzik – by chef and culinary expert Sebastian Cichy and Marcin Dajos, Deputy Marketing Director of MTG.

The winners received statuettes, vouchers worth PLN 5,000 towards a stall at Jarmark św. Dominika 2027, commemorative diplomas and vouchers from Polferries – for a cruise to Sweden.
