The Tastes of Gdańsk are not only a culinary feast, but also a way to discover and appreciate the rich history and culture of Gdańsk through the prism of flavours. Thanks to this initiative, both residents and tourists have the opportunity to rediscover and fall in love with traditional Gdańsk cuisine.

Gdańsk flavours within fork's reach

The Gdańsk Tourist Organisation has launched an initiative to showcase and promote Gdańsk's cuisine. Leading local restaurateurs were invited to take on the challenge of preparing and serving dishes inspired by 19th-century fare. Each restaurateur selects the recipes that most inspire them and adapts them to their own style and restaurant concept. The recipes are used in an innovative way with attention paid to the highest quality ingredients. This results in unique dishes that reference culinary traditions while also adding a creative element.

If you're visiting the Fair, you won't have to look far. We have a special „here and now” offer for you. Visit the Smaki Gdańska catering point, where specially prepared „fair” dishes, created in cooperation with restaurateurs and local product producers, are served. Throughout the entire Fair, three partner restaurants will be serving dishes: Oria Magic House, Piwnica Rajców, and Smaki Kaszub. Each of them has developed its own „Tastes” menu.
