July 27, at 10 Houses 764. St Dominic's Fair will be opened for the first time. The official opening ceremony of the wonders festival, whose partner is Energa from the Orlen Group, will start at 12, in front of the Artusian court, and its culmination will be the traditional transfer of the key to the city to buyers and a parade of colorful characters that will pass through the streets of the main city. This is how one of the largest and coolest outdoor events in Europe will be inaugurated, which will last until August 18.
The opening ceremony of St Dominic's Fair is a tradition of the Gdańsk event that attracts the attention of hundreds of Gdańsk residents and tourists. The ceremonial start of 764. St Dominic's Fair will take place at the forefront of the Artus Court. It will start at noon. We will find elements in it for years related to the opening ceremony of the event, but also a few new products. The culmination will be the transfer by the President of Gdańsk Aleksandra Dulkiewicz to buyers to the city gates. Then the streets of Długa and Tkacka will start a parade of colorful characters, which will play genre scenes until the Equality stop.
The partner of the Opening Ceremony is Energa from the ORLEN Group, which for another year is together with the St. Peter's Fair. Dominica.
OPENING OF FAIR STOPS
A novelty on the first day of this year's Fair will be the opening of each special stop.
Stop of Flavors on Świętopełka Square
The zone, which no visitor to the Fair will miss, will be opened with the first stall - at 10. This is a space where Polish Regions and Cities will present themselves, inviting Tourists and Residents of Pomerania to visit them. This is where you will find interesting attractions, including: competitions, tastings, exhibitions and a large-format game Spy Guy Pomorski, which will take participants on a journey around the nooks and crannies of the region.
Równość stop on Heweliusza Square
At. At 13, the stop will start with a concert by the band Głos. Around this time, the Opening Ceremony parade will arrive at the bus stop. An hour later, the most colorful and joyful fair event will begin - the Mascot Parade. Amidst the cheerful bustle and sounds of music, Adventure with AmberSky will set off with the fair's visitors towards the Przystanek Przystanek. It will be a spectacle full of colors, laughter and surprises.
Adventure stop with AmberSky at the Fish Market
A magical world of fun and smiles will be opened to the fair's guests, thanks to the mascots that will be presented at the Adventure Stop with AmberSky. We will also see dance shows, scientific experiments conducted by the Hevelianum Science Center, and the lighting of the Olympic torch, which will symbolize the start of the Dominica Olympics. The Helios Cinema invites you to performances of the well-known and beloved Bajkowisko.
Retro stop at Długie Ogrody
When the clock strikes 3 p.m. GRH, the retrospection will begin a spectacle that will show fashion from the 1970s and 1980s. Models dressed in stylish outfits will walk down the catwalk, evoking memories of the fashion creativity of that time. After the show, the models will be available at Przystanek Retro to take souvenir photos with them.
Port Gdańsk pod Żaglami stop on Ołowianka
At. 18, the Port Gdańsk pod Żaglami stop will officially start operating - in its own style. The Pan B band will perform on stage, i.e. four musicians playing pop/rock songs in a blues atmosphere.
Every Saturday of the Fair, at At 9 p.m. we also invite you to the light and music show of the Observation Circle on Ołowianka.

Uliczka Pomorska:
Location: ul. Wide
Ulica Pomorska is a unique place that will tempt everyone with regional delicacies and natural products. You will be able to meet Pomeranian craftsmen with their beautiful handicrafts. There will also be stands with products and services of entities that combine economics with social sensitivity. Everyone will certainly find something for themselves here.
Graphics and Poster Zone – Digital Art.
Location: ul. Tkacka
Tkacka Street, next to traditional handicrafts, will also bring meetings with digital art. However, the hosts of this innovative zone will not use traditional tools to create an image, but will use computer simulations - creating posters, computer graphics and stained glass windows. At the same time, they will leave visitors free to interpret the works. These are often colorful and bold illusions that will perfectly modernize any interior and present the opening of the Fair's tradition to the world of fantasy and novelty. The digital space successfully debuted at the Fair in 2023.
Polish Fashion Designers Street
Location: ul. Stagniarska
The Polish fashion zone - designers for many years, through unique designs, invite visitors St Dominic's Fair to the fashion world. However, this fashion often goes beyond the borders of traditional cuts - although it also draws from the classics. Creators from ul. Straganiarska is guaranteed by individual, usually Polish projects. Bold and non -obvious projects that will emphasize the identity of anyone who wants to highlight their personality also through the style of clothing or add -ons.
Collectors' zone - historical wonders
Location: Przystanek Retro, ul. Długie Ogrody
It is to Gdańsk that merchants from all over Europe come to trade and exchange historic wonders. This is a place for visitors of all ages to encounter tradition mixed with modernity. The Collectors' Zone is a journey back in time - a treat for enthusiasts of old porcelain and glass, old postcards, paintings, original furniture, jewelry, collectible coins and stamps, and thousands of other historical wonders and trinkets that are waiting to be discovered and deserve further, new history.
Artystyczne Podwale Street
Location: ul. Podwale Staromiejskie and Grobla IV
Artistic Podwale is represented by craftsmen, creators of small workshops and local artists. The assortment they present is an excellent opportunity to encounter classic or more modern art. It is a street with traditional crafts, with the opportunity to buy unique ceramics, jewelry, amber, handmade candles and paintings - not only on canvas - or modern, original trinkets and wonders that perfectly fit the merchant character and history of Gdańsk.
XXIX BREAD FESTIVAL IN GDAŃSK
For 29 years, one of the important program events St Dominic's Fair is the bread festival. This year's edition will take place on July 28 (Sunday) on the Hevelius Square, offering many attractions and tastings of delicious bread and confectionery. The program on the stage and program tents will accompany visitors from 10am to 5pm.
The 29th Bread Festival is part of the strategy of promoting healthy eating of the Fund for the Promotion of Cereal Grains and Grain Products, which finances it. For artisan bakers, this is an excellent opportunity to build relationships with customers and promote high-quality cereal products, which is part of the trend of consciously planning meals containing good bread. During the Bread Festival, there will be tastings of bakery and confectionery products, you will be able to take part in competitions in which the prizes will be flour and bakery products, and enjoy artistic performances, among others. sing shanties together with the Trzy Majtki Band. The Qfer Theater will provide attractions for younger participants of the Bread Festival. In the consultation zone, experts and dietitians will support those interested in professional knowledge on how to choose the right bread for their daily diet. Regular attractions also include the AmberSky Observation Wheel and the spinning coaster Wirowane Beczki, which can be found on Ołowianka.

FAIR IN THE RESIDENTS' AREA

We encourage you to go to St Dominic's Fair by public transport. However, if the car is chosen for the means of a car, the organizers encourage you to use the Park & Ride zone, which will be on the People's Zebrań Square - the parking ticket price will be a free tram ride on the market.
