Various accompanying events will become a decoration of trade and gastronomy during the August long weekend at St Dominic's Fair . It will also be the culmination of a three -week miracle festival, which will end the closing ceremony - on Sunday, at 16 in front of the Artusian court.
The last days of St Dominic's Fair do not mean that the best related to the wonders festival is behind us. On the contrary - they will be filled with interesting accompanying events and at the same time full of trade - so at handicraft stands, craftsmanship, like gastronomy.
The long weekend will begin on… Wednesday evening with the last installment of the Jazz on the Island . From 19:45 you can listen to the band Siema Ziemia, which freely draws on genres with electronic roots, such as breakbeat, techno, footwork/juke, combining them with jazz improvisation. Their songs have been featured on BBC 6, Worldwide.fm and Narr Radio. They performed, among others, at the London Jazz Festival and the Amsterdam Dance Event.
Then the Tentno band will appear on stage. These are four artists who use sound and image. They create complex structures that are not obvious at first glance, only to then allow them to fall apart and be built anew on their "ruins". Additionally, they use classical and contemporary languages.
From Thursday to Sunday, it is worth taking advantage of the unique opportunity to visit the Coca-Cola zone at Świętopełka Square. There will be an extraordinary place full of attractions and relaxation, where you will be able to take part in competitions or simply relax.
What about the sea and barbecue? campaign will take place. Please come to the Castellan . There will be grilling workshops, instaspots and monidła, castellan promotion teams and a relaxation zone.
On Friday you can listen to, among others: Big Bike Orchestra , a Polish pop-folk band composed of six musicians who managed to tame an unusual two-wheeler - a big bike! They go and play at Przystanek Port Gdańsk pod Żaglami from 17.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Pomeranian Chamber of Crafts of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises invites you to the 3rd edition of the Pomeranian Craft Festival - Przystanek Równość at Heweliusza Square. The event is a presentation and promotion of Pomeranian crafts - as an important element of the economic development and culture of the region. As part of the Pomeranian Craft Festival, the Chamber will organize a space where Pomeranian craftsmen will present their profession, activities and passions and encourage people to choose a craft profession as an interesting career or an idea for pursuing their interests.

St Dominic's Fair will find officially closed on Sunday, August 18. The final of the wonders festival will be determined by the closing ceremony. Three weeks after the opening ceremony, whose main partner was Energa from the Orlen group, it was time for the buyers to give the key to the cities to the Gdańsk authorities. The ceremony will start at 16 in front of the Artusian court.
