On August 1st, the Rescue and Firefighting Unit performed a second run-through of the event grounds, this time during the ongoing Fair. The aim was to assess if it was adequately prepared in terms of safety and the clear passage of streets within the event area.
We can confirm that no irregularities were found. Every service will be able to reach the site of any potential incident. Moving around the event streets is not a problem for large fire engines.
We do hope, however, that these types of vehicles will not have to appear on the fairground streets.
