764. St Dominic's Fair will start on July 27. For three holiday weeks, the event, which began in 1260, will again attract over a million visitors - residents of Gdańsk, Pomerania, and tourists.
Gdańsk St Dominic's Fair was recognized this year as one of the ten coolest outdoor events in Europe - according to the Forbes ranking. During the fair, you buy, bargain, look for treasures and find beautiful frames for souvenir photographs. Different languages can be heard around, traditions and customs mix. It's noisy and colorful, there's something going on almost everywhere. This is the Gdańsk festival of wonders!
– We are glad that we can continue our cooperation again, as we did years ago. Last year, thanks to cooperation, we managed to organize a unique event that engaged young people in sports competition. Continued cooperation allows us to expand the possibilities and develop the Fair on many levels. It's great that the largest energy company in Pomerania will supply us again. Energa, which is part of the ORLEN Group, is one of the four largest domestic energy companies and one of the three largest electricity suppliers in Poland. The company's core activities include the generation, distribution and trading of electricity. The Group's priorities include the development of renewable energy sources. Already 46 percent energy produced is renewable energy. Almost half of the electricity sold to customers comes from wind, sun, water, biomass and biogas.
