On August 1 and 2 St Dominic's Fair will pass by the competition for the Grand Prix. This year, for the first time, the category for gastronomic exhibitors will join the two traditional categories for handicrafts and craftsmen as well as food delicacies. The awards will be awarded on Friday, on the Świętopełk square at 17.
The Grand Prix awards have been awarded during St Dominic's Fair since 2001. This is a prestigious competition for all exhibitors. It aims to consistently improve the quality of the presented offers and promote the best exhibitors. Winners receive statuettes and vouchers to buy a stand during next year's event. This Thursday, the competition jury will personally watch fair stalls and choose the winners in two categories: a good idea - for the best handicrafts and craftsmen and a good treat - for exhibitors with a food offer.
This year, a new category was created - a good taste that will particularly allow gastronomic exhibitors to be appreciated. The competition will take place as part of a gastronomy competition. Exhibitors will prepare live "the best dish" St Dominic's Fair . The gastronomy competition will take place for the first time in the history of the Fair, on Friday at 14.00, at the Tastes stop, at the Świętopełka square. Exhibitors will prepare their dishes in two elimination turns. The authorities in the world of gastronomy will be assessed: Andrzej Polan and Sebastian Cichy. The jury will also include: Piotr Dzik and Paweł Orłowski. At 17, on the Świętopełka square we will know the final winners of the Grand Prix 2024.
We wish the exhibitors good luck and see you at the awards ceremony.
