Let's move in time to a place that was the heart of every Polish home - to the kitchen. At a time when the wind was rummaging in stores, and ingenuity was the most valuable of spices, it was at the kitchen table, covered with oilcloth, the best flavors, the most interesting conversations and the strongest ties were born.
Every Thursday and Friday we will discover together the culinary and social phenomena of the 70s and 80s. It is not only a sentimental journey to the flavors of childhood, but above all a fascinating story about resourcefulness, community and strength that lies in everyday life.
Together with our unique guests - Solidarity legends, historians, sociologists and women who were able to conjure up real feasts from "nothing" - we will talk about how cooked, celebrated and "combined" to fill the plates. We will find out what the street ate, what the kitchen looked like in the time of strikes and how old patents for saving are inspired today by the Zero Waste traffic.
