Culinary competition "Battle of Regions" is the largest culinary competition for village housewife clubs and associations gathering people from rural areas whose statutory goal of the action is, among others Promotion and nurturing local culinary traditions, activities supporting the development of local communities and communities, development of folk culture, in particular local and regional culture; Dissemination and development of forms of cooperation, management and rational methods of running households.

Why are we doing this?
The goal of the "Battle of Regions" competition is, among others Promoting regional dishes and the wealth and diversity of local culinary traditions. An important aspect is also the promotion and support of village housewife circles, in particular in the field of activation of local communities and communities in rural areas.
"Battle of Regions" is a nationwide competition in which the representations of the Country Housewife Circles are preparing a regional dish based on their own recipe and native products using at least one regional product. Regional products must be related to a given geographical area, characterized by special features of the region from which they come. They should be produced by traditional methods, derive from traditions and customs cultivated in a given region.
1843 Country Housewives' Circle and the Association, including 78 from the Pomeranian Voivodeship, submitted participation in the jubilee edition of the culinary competition "Battle of Regions".
