Valeriy Filipov is a guitarist, a multi -instrumentalist and teacher. He graduated in the Musical High School in the Guitar class and the Kiev Conservatory P. Czajkowski, obtaining a diploma in three specialties: concert performer, conductor and teacher of the classical guitar.
As a student, he concerts in many cities of the former USSR and Czechoslovakia. In 1986, as part of a cultural action after the Chernobyl disaster, he toured in the areas affected by failure. In 1991 he was a laureate of a general public guitar competition in Donetsk, in 2004 - the International Festival of Game of Unique Instruments in Starogard Gdański. He performed, among others in Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Denmark and Lithuania.
From 1984, he worked as a teacher at the Kiev College of Music, and after moving to Poland in 1993 he continued his didactic activity at a private artistic music school in Gdańsk. At the same time, he conducts active artistic activity, appearing on the stages, including The Baltic Opera, the Musical Theater in Gdynia, the Castle of the St. John in Skarszewy or the Baltic Philharmonic.
Filipov's repertoire includes the classic songs of Sora, Giuliani, Albeniz and Villi-Lobos, as well as his own music studies of Mozart, Beethoven, folk songs, Christmas carols, jazz standards and songs of The Beatles. He is also the author of the author's compositions.
The artist is a multi -instrumentalist - plays, among others On the guitar, oral harmonica, the Lord's flute and on the rare singing saw. He sings Russian affairs, Ukrainian Dums, Polish melodies, shanties, as well as English -language standards of popular music and blues.
He performed with many well -known artists and bands, including Marcel's gang, Rudim Schubert, Piotr Gąsowski, Anna Dymna, Cappella Gedanensis, Waldemar Malicki, as well as alongside Małgorzata Potocka and Andrzej Rosiewicz.
