The Gdańsk Museum is a place where history meets the present, and every corner tells a fascinating story about the city's past. Established in 1970, the museum has been documented and presents the history of Gdańsk for over half a century, from the Middle Ages to the present.
The main seat of the museum is the Town Hall of the Main City , an impressive Gothic-Renaissance building from the fourteenth century, located at Długa Street. In his interiors you can admire, among others The great council hall, called the Red Hall, and the Great Hall of Veta, known as the White Hall. On the Town Hall tower is Carillon with 37 bells, which wins melodies at full hours, adding charm to the royal path. The second one is located on the tower of the church of St. Catherine.
