The Baltic Theatre of Diversity was established to fill a niche in the artistic market, which is comedy. Although it is desired by audiences, it is not frequently staged in institutional theatres. Yet, the need for laughter is immense. Comedy, especially at a high theatrical level, offers an escape from reality and allows us to view the world from a different perspective.
Laughter has enormous therapeutic power and can be a cure for many ailments. The sight of a full hall of guests leaving after a show, happy, laughing, and with flushed faces, is priceless and speaks for itself.
Therefore, we decided to focus exclusively on the comedy repertoire. We select a variety of farces to present different types of humour. We assemble casts precisely, aware of our audience's expectations.
The theatre performs a repertoire of several to a dozen or so shows per month., entertaining hundreds of viewers in the Tricity area and throughout Poland. In Gdynia terms, we can say we've caught the wind in our sails – and may it blow for as long as possible.
After years of building my own theatre, searching for the perfect repertoire, and creating a top-notch acting ensemble, I am entrusting you with the first comedy theatre of its kind in the Tricity area. Our home is Gdynia; all our performances are created here. We perform them throughout the Tricity and are also invited to present our work in various regions of Poland, which brings immense joy to myself and the whole team. I invite you to the Baltic Theatre of Diversity for a hearty dose of good entertainment.
