Flavors of Gdańsk is not only a culinary feast, but also a way to discover and appreciate the rich history and culture of Gdańsk through the prism of flavors. Thanks to this initiative, both residents and tourists have the opportunity to rediscover and fall in love with traditional Gdańsk cuisine.
The Gdańsk Tourist Organization took the initiative to show and promote Gdańsk cuisine. Leading local restaurateurs were invited to take on the challenge of preparing and serving dishes modeled on 19th-century dishes. Each restaurateur chooses the recipes that inspire him the most and adapts them to his style and restaurant concept. Recipes are used in an innovative way and with attention to the highest quality ingredients. This is how unique dishes are created that refer to culinary traditions and at the same time add a creative element to them.
If you visit the Fair, you don't have to look far. We have a unique offer for you "here and now". We invite you to the Smaków Gdańska gastronomic point, where specially prepared "fair" dishes are served, created in cooperation with restaurateurs and producers of local products. During the entire Fair, dishes will be served by three partner restaurants: Oria Magic House, Piwnica Rajców and Smaki Kaszub . Each of them has developed its own "Tastes" menu.
