Fairground Grand Prix Competition

Prestigious Fair Exhibitor Competition

On 1 and 2 August, the St Dominic's Fair will be dominated by the Grand Prix competition. This year, for the first time, a category for food exhibitors will be added to the two traditional categories for craftsmen and artisans, and food delicacy producers.

Grand Prix awards have been presented during the St. Dominic's Fair since 2001. It is a prestigious competition for all exhibitors. Its aim is to consistently raise the quality of the offers presented and to promote the best exhibitors. Winners receive statuettes and vouchers for renting a stand at next year's event. On Thursday, August 1st, the competition jury will personally inspect the fair stalls and select the winners in two categories: Good Idea – for the best handicraft makers and artisans, and Good Treat – for exhibitors with food offerings.
This year, the Good Taste category has been refreshed, which will allow for the appreciation of gastronomic exhibitors.

The competition will take place as part of a culinary contest, which will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Przystanek Smaków, on Skwer Świętopełka.

Exhibitors will prepare their dishes in two elimination rounds. They will be judged by, among others, authorities in the world of gastronomy: Andrzej Polan and Sebastian Cichy.

At 5 p.m., at Skwer Świętopełka, we will discover the final winners of GRAND PRIX 2024 during the awards ceremony.
