St. Dominic's Fair back in Forbes TOP 10

The St. Dominic's Fair in Gdańsk has once again been recognised as one of Europe's best summer events – according to a prestigious ranking by Forbes magazine. In the list, based on the choices of travel experts from European Best Destinations, it came second, right alongside the spectacular opera festival in Bregenz on Lake Constance and the iconic Tomorrowland – the world's largest electronic music festival.

„The largest outdoor summer festival in Europe, the St. Dominic's Fair, transforms Gdańsk into a vibrant world of flavours and unforgettable surprises. For 765 years, this iconic fair has been attracting travellers, artists, collectors, and dreamers seeking not only rare treasures but also meaningful moments,” the justification emphasised.

The St. Dominic's Fair ranked in the TOP 10 alongside other European summer events, such as the aforementioned Bregenz Opera Festival on Lake Constance, and the iconic Belgian Tomorrowland – the world's largest electronic music festival, or the Bristol International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, Puppets Occupy the Streets in Craiova, Velvet Dinner in Maribor, Glastonbury Festival in Pilton, Regatta Storica in Venice, Cattle Drives in Tyrol, Flowertime in Brussels. It's much more than a fair – it's a festival of wonders, emotions, and community that transforms Gdańsk into a multidimensional tale for three weeks every year. This year's St. Dominic's Fair will take place from 25th July to 16th August 2026 in the heart of Gdańsk.
