The ensemble “Bessarabia” was formed in 2007 on the initiative of a flautist from Moldova. Its repertoire includes classical, film, and ethnic music.
The traditional music of Moldova, Romania, and Ukraine is particularly popular with performers.
Their performances feature both lively dances (e.g. hora, hostropec, sirba) and nostalgic ballads (doinas).
The unique sound is thanks to the original combination of instruments and the blending of different cultures by our international lineup.
