Mateusz Święcicki – Polish journalist and sports commentator.
In 2008, he began working for Orange Sport. Prior to that, he had been an intern at Canal+Sport. He was hired by Janusz Basałaj, and one of the recruitment tasks involved commentating on the match between Wisła Kraków and GKS Bełchatów. Mateusz Święcicki became the youngest television commentator in Poland at the time. He made his debut behind the Orange Sport microphone on 20 September 2008, commentating on the Ekstraklasa match between GKS Bełchatów and Lechia Gdańsk. In addition to the Polish leagues, namely the Ekstraklasa and the First Division, during his time at Orange he also commentated on matches in the French Ligue 1, the French Cup and the Italian Serie A. He also presented the programmes ”Futbol Raport” and ”Sport Raport 24”, „Ekstraklasa raport”, and televised sports galas summarising the league season, and was involved in the production of many of his station’s programmes, collaborating with Paweł Zarzeczny, among others.

Between 2015 and 2016, he was a journalist for the Wirtualna Polska portal, where, in addition to his journalistic work, he also prepared video materials and commented on social gatherings.
On 1 August 2016, he became a commentator for Eleven Sports, where he covers Serie A, La Liga, Ligue 1, Bundesliga football matches, and many others. He is one of the station's most popular and important journalists. He often partnered with Tomasz Ćwiąkała to commentate on El Clásico matches. He also hosts pre-match football studios and is one of the presenters of the programme ”Eleven Gol Live”.
He commentated (alongside Wojciech Kowalewski) on five matches of the 2024 European Championship in Germany from the stadiums for Polish Television.
Alongside another sports journalist, Filip Kapica, he runs the website 2AngryMen[5], where they profile footballers, creating documentary programmes among other things. The successes of their project include a documentary about Paulo Dybala, and their assistance to the Argentinian footballer in finding his Polish roots.
