Fate spared them no suffering or hardship. They did not break. They chose to fight. Although it was not easy for them, today they are reaching for the highest laurels. The amputee footballers of Krakow's Wisła have been winning the Polish championship consecutively for several years, and with great success, they compete in the European Champions League every year. What caused them to become disabled? How do they perceive the world from this perspective, and how are they perceived by the world? How did they end up in this still-developing, niche sport? The film's authors tried to answer these questions by listening to and documenting the life stories of the protagonists – people with extraordinary grit, courage; professionals constantly improving their athletic form.
