Dear Sir/Madam, we are honoured to cordially invite you to the ceremonial celebration of the 80th birthday of Lechia Gdańsk, which is the most popular sports club in the region. The birthday programme is attached, please allow us to briefly outline it.
The celebrations will begin on August 3rd at 11 am with a holy mass for our Club and Homeland, held at St. Bridget's Basilica.
On August 7th, for the 80th anniversary of the founding of KS BOP (Lechia Gdańsk's predecessor), between 5 PM and 8 PM, as part of St. Dominic's Fair on Ołowianka, the first team of the White and Greens will be presented. The Academy teams will also be there, and numerous attractions for fans will take place. A photographic exhibition celebrating the club's 80th anniversary, under the slogan: “The Greatest Club in the World,” will also be unveiled. This exhibition will serve as a prelude to an album featuring unique photographs from Lechia Gdańsk's history, which will be released soon.
Another chord of the celebrations is August 24th, when, on the occasion of the derby match, we will loudly celebrate the 80th anniversary of Lechia Gdańsk.
Finally, on September 6th, a festival will be held at our home at 29 Traugutta Street, which will include a fan tournament, matches between Lechii Gdańsk and Śląsk Wrocław old boys, and a meeting between fan representatives and TLG (Tylko Lechia Gdańsk).
