A variety of accompanying events will be the highlight of trade and gastronomy during the August long weekend at the St. Dominic's Fair. This will also be the culmination of the three-week Festival of Wonders, which will conclude with the Closing Ceremony – on Sunday, at 4 p.m. in front of the Artus Court.
The final days of St Dominic's Fair do not mean that all the best of the Festival of Miracles is behind us. On the contrary, they will be filled with interesting accompanying events and, at the same time, full of trade – both at stalls with handicrafts, crafts, and gastronomy.
The long weekend will begin on Wednesday evening with the final instalment of the series Jazz on the Island. From 7:45 PM, you can listen to the band Siema Ziemia, who freely draw from electronic-rooted genres such as breakbeat, techno, and footwork/juke, combining them with jazz improvisation. Their tracks have been featured on BBC 6, Worldwide.fm, and Narr Radio. They have performed at events including the London Jazz Festival and Amsterdam Dance Event.
Next, the band Tentno will appear on stage. They are a quartet of artists who use sound and image. They create complex structures, not immediately obvious to the eye/ear, only to let them fall apart later and build anew on their „ruins.” Additionally, they operate in both classical and contemporary language.
From Thursday to Sunday, it's worth taking advantage of the exceptional opportunity to visit Coca-Cola zones on Świętopełka Square. An extraordinary place full of attractions and relaxation will appear there, where you can take part in competitions or simply rest.
From Thursday to Sunday, a campaign will also take place at Taste Stop And the sea and barbecue? Would you care to visit the Castellan. There will be barbecue workshops, insta-spots and cut-out boards, castle promo teams, and a relaxation zone.
On Friday, you can listen to, among others,. Big Bike Orchestra, which is a Polish pop-folk band, made up of six musicians who have managed to tame an unusual one-wheeler – a big bicycle! They are riding and playing at Przystanek Port Gdańsk pod Żaglami from 5 PM.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Pomeranian Chamber of Craft and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises invites you to The 3rd edition of the Pomeranian Craft Festival – Equality Stop at Heweliusz Square. This event is a presentation and promotion of Pomeranian craftsmanship – as an important element of the region's economic development and culture. As part of the Pomeranian Craftsmanship Festival, the Chamber will organise a space where Pomeranian craftspeople will present their trade, activities, and passions, and encourage the choice of a craft profession as an interesting career path or a way to pursue one's interests.

Saint Dominic's Fair will be officially closed on Sunday, 18 August. The finale of the Festival of Wonders will be marked by the Closing Ceremony. Three weeks after the Opening Ceremony, whose main partner was Energa from the ORLEN Group, the time has come for merchants to hand over the city key to the authorities of Gdańsk. The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. in front of Artus Court.
