Przedproża Dworu Artusa i Fontanna Neptuna na Długim Targu w Gdańsku podczas Jarmarku św. Dominika

Following the tragic coach accident involving Polish pilgrims in Hungary, in which 12 people died and many others were injured, we wish to inform you that the artistic part of the closing ceremony of the 766th Jarmark św. Dominika, scheduled for today, 16 August 2026 at 16:00 on the forecourt of Artus Court in Gdańsk, has been cancelled.

We share the grief of the victims' families and of all those affected by this tragedy. In these difficult moments we wish to express our deepest sympathy and support.

Jarmark św. Dominika will be closed with a short address by Monika Chabior, Deputy Mayor of Gdańsk – at 16:00, on the forecourt of Artus Court.

A decision has also been taken to tone down the artistic performances planned at Jarmark św. Dominika for Sunday, 16 August 2026.

The distinctions that were to be presented during the closing ceremony – Dominik Kultury and the wish from Koło Marzeń – will be handed over individually. Details of the winners and of the form in which the awards will be presented will be announced through the communication channels of Jarmark św. Dominika.

Thank you for your understanding.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that the trade stalls and the whole of Jarmark św. Dominika will be open today, Sunday, until 20:00. This is the final day of this year's edition of the event.
