A story as old as time: the princess pricks her finger on a spindle. The wicked witch's curse is fulfilled. The kingdom sinks into a deep slumber, the court falls asleep and the castle walls become overgrown with dense thickets of wild roses. Everyone who comes near the castle perishes in unexplained circumstances (some claim not without the help of the cunning traps and nasty spells of a certain Hula Babula). Will a brave soul finally appear, one able to resist the witch's magic and break the hundred-year sleep with a kiss? Evil will do everything it can to thwart the efforts of those seeking the princess's hand. And it has ample means to do so: wild beasts, forest dragons, moon dwarves... But Good will not stand idly by, waiting for the longed-for happy ending either. The Enchanted Cat and the royal servant, Palipieca, will not leave the hero – a boy named Staszek – for a single step on his trials. Courage, cleverness and a sensitive heart will be their weapons. The brave one's road to his goal, as tends to happen in fairy tales, will be winding and bumpy. It will lead through the dark thickets of Hula Babula's forest, the dodgy alleyways of Kraków's market square, all the way to the distant craters of the silver globe...
