The Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and the City of Gdańsk cordially invite you to a screening of the film GOSIA@TOMEK.
GOSIA@TOMEK – documentary film, 90 minutes, Germany 2021.
What happens in a relationship when one partner suddenly becomes disabled? For Gosia it is obvious that she will stand by Tomek no matter what, so that he can live as normal and as fulfilled a life as possible. Despite the immense love she gives him, she often falls into moments of bitterness brought on by the sheer weight of difficulties, challenges and limitations.
Certain attitudes in society are an obstacle too. We often talk about understanding and inclusion, but sadly we are not always ready for it.
The film “GOSIA@TOMEK” was created from more than 3,000 e-mails that Gosia writes to Tomek every day.
