We invite you to a unique series of summer „Chopin Concerts”, where piano virtuosity meets an unrepeatable atmosphere! This is the perfect opportunity to slow down for a moment, relax, and immerse yourself in the timeless works of Poland's greatest composer and his world.
Tomas Quevedo Pincetti – Chopin without limits
At the beginning of our August meeting, we'll be inviting you to an interesting conversation with Tomas Quevedo Pincetti. He is an incredibly talented Chilean pianist and a scholarship holder of the Chilean Ministry of Culture, who crossed the ocean to delve into the secrets of our piano school in Poland (he is a graduate of the legendary Prof. Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń's class!).
We will talk to him about how a South American-born artist feels and interprets music from the heart of Mazovia. Immediately after the interview, we will hear a short, 30-minute musical prelude performed by a talented representative of the Gdańsk Academy of Music. In the main part of the afternoon, Tomas Quevedo Pincetti will prove the absolute universalism of Fryderyk Chopin's works. In his playing, classical precision and romantic melancholy wonderfully intertwine with authentic, southern temperament.
