The magic of music in a summer climate!
We invite you to a unique series of summer „Chopin Concerts”, where piano virtuosity meets an unrepeatable atmosphere! This is the perfect opportunity to slow down for a moment, relax, and immerse yourself in the timeless works of Poland's greatest composer and his world.
Mikołaj Sikała – Master and Student
We'll begin the afternoon of classical music with an engaging conversation with Dr Mikołaj Sikała – an extremely versatile pianist and laureate of numerous competitions, including the National F. Chopin Competition in Gdańsk, and the first Pole in history to win the International Baltic Piano Competition. Our guest is not only a virtuoso but also an award-winning composer (his works include the original "Seaside Suite" and the piece "PARTY" for four hands). We'll talk about how a contemporary composer views works from the Romantic era.
After the interview, we'll listen to a 30-minute recital by Piotr Czerwiński – a highly promising student at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, who hones his craft daily in the piano class of Professor Elżbieta Pasierowska and Mikołaj Sikała. We'll therefore witness a beautiful musical meeting between master and student! The event will culminate in a full recital by our guest. In his interpretations of Fryderyk Chopin's works, we'll hear inexhaustible energy and passion, proving that this music still pulses with tremendous emotion.
